Exclamation North American Duck and Goose Calling Championships hotel and vendor info
NORTH AMERICAN
DUCK AND GOOSE CALLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
And
WATERFOWL EXPO
Dear Callers, Vendors and Waterfowl Enthusiasts!
The 2010 North American Duck and Goose Calling Championships and Waterfowl Expo will be held on Saturday, March 6th and Sunday, March 7th. We will be returning to the Ramada Airport and Conference Center (309-762-8811), in Moline, IL (formerly the Fifth Season and Convention Center), and I hope that you are able to join us for a fun packed weekend!
The Ramada Airport (click on link for hotel info and directions) --> (Ramada Airport) has a Sports Bar and Grill, two pools, a large hot tub, miniature golf, and game room, which are all located around a large lounging area with plenty of tables and chairs. We have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted price with a king bed/$69 or two double beds/$79. When making your reservation, (309-762-8811) please be sure to mention that you will be with the North American duck and goose callers to receive the discount. The hotel is conveniently located across the highway from the Quad Cities International Airport for those who will be flying in and has free shuttle service to and from the airport. Call letters for the airport are MLI and by clicking on this link --> Quad Cities International Airport you will find the airlines that fly into the airport. For those of you who will be driving, the hotel sits ¼ mile off the intersection of I-74 and I-280.
Within easy driving distance of the hotel, there is a huge shopping mall (South Park Mall) only 1/2 mile away, for which the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the hotel. There is a large selection of restaurants located near the hotel, ranging from McDonalds next door, to chain restaurants such as Denny’s, Applebees and Carlos O’Kellys. For finer dining, there is Bud’s Skyline Inn across the highway, or Montana Jacks three doors down, both serving full menus. If you are hungry for Chinese there is the New Mandarin and for sushi or hibachi style you must try Osaka Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar.
Many of your favorite vendors will return with their newest lines of calls and hunting accessories! Come test drive the latest and greatest in calls for 2010, touch and feel the newest life-like decoys, or disappear into one of the hottest new lay-out blinds! Vendors who are interested in booth space may click HERE for a form, or please contact me at mike@callingducks.com should you have additional questions. Please do so ASAP, as space is limited and will fill quickly!
For the competition duck callers we again feature not one, but three sanctioned Regional duck calling contests! We understand that travel is expensive and hope that three for the price of one will make your destination Moline on that weekend!
